FAQ - Hiking Aruba

Can I book through my hotel concierge?

Yes, you can book through your hotel concierge. However, we typically require payment at the time of booking, with exceptions for select partner hotels. We recommend booking directly through our website for the fastest confirmation. If your concierge recommends us, please mention them during checkout.

We strongly recommend booking in advance to ensure availability and to better plan your Aruba adventure. Same-day bookings are rarely possible, especially during peak season, as our hiking tours have limited group sizes for safety and quality experience.

Yes! Most of our featured hiking experiences are available as private tours for groups of 2 or more. Private tours allow for a more personalized experience and flexible pacing tailored to your fitness level and interests.

Yes, we offer shared group hikes that can be booked for 1 person or more. These tours are a great way to meet fellow hikers while exploring Aruba’s natural beauty at a more economical price point.

We recommend bringing:

  • Sturdy hiking shoes or athletic shoes with good grip
  • Sunscreen and sun hat
  • Plenty of water (we recommend at least 1 liter per person)
  • Camera for the stunning views
  • Light snacks or energy bars
  • Swimsuit if the tour includes swimming opportunities

Detailed packing lists are provided in your confirmation email for each specific tour.

Our tours range from easy to challenging. Each tour description includes:

  • Difficulty rating (Easy, Moderate, Challenging)
  • Distance and elevation gain
  • Estimated hiking time
  • Terrain type

We recommend reviewing these details carefully and choosing a hike that matches your fitness level.

Your safety is our priority. In case of severe weather conditions that make hiking unsafe, we will contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund. Light rain doesn’t typically cancel tours, as Aruba’s climate is generally dry and sunny.

Yes, children are welcome on most of our tours! However, age restrictions vary by tour difficulty. Easy to moderate hikes are generally suitable for children 6 and above, while more challenging hikes may have higher age requirements. Please check individual tour pages for specific age recommendations.

We keep our groups small to ensure a quality experience and minimal environmental impact. Most group tours have a maximum of 8-12 participants, while private tours can accommodate your specific group size.Share
